Environmental protection

In Europe, the importance of freight transport as a source of numerous pollutants is increasing dramatically and is expected to continue to rise steadily over the coming decades. We have been taking this situation into account for years and have therefore defined environmental targets that lead to a reduction in pollution. Using the slogan "Green Logistics", this is constantly communicated internally (employees) and externally (customers, partners, authorities, fellow citizens, etc.).

Concrete measures for our active environmental protection are

• Modern vehicle fleet with low-emission Euro 6 vehicles
• Use of exclusively sulphur-free fuel
• GPS-supported route planning
• Training of employees for consumption-optimised driving style
• "Modal shift" - shifting transport to the railways
• Photovoltaic system for generating electricity for the refrigerated and deep-freeze warehouses
• Use of alternative drive technologies such as electric lorries and electric cars
• 100% green electricity from renewable energies
• Biotopes on the company premises
